I have had the most fun with this couple and their awesome little man today. Nothing but a morning filled with laughter, jokes, and the obvious love between them.

Nothing like a mountain sunset

I am always looking for new places to do photo shoots, and sometimes I run across some beautiful ones. This is a view about 3 minutes from my house I stumbled on the other day!

This is Ivana, we used to volunteer together at the YWCA childcare. A time when neither of us ever imagined we would be young parents. In these pictures she hadn't put on any nice clothes, hadn't done her hair up and wasn't even wearing makeup. There is so much natural beauty in the simplicity of just being a mom.

A little piece of me

As many of you know I am working (very hard) to start up a photography business. Especially with the economy being how it is, it is proving to be very...and I mean VERY hard. Some times we all need to take a break from the stress of every day life and have some fun. Aside from photographing other people and other people's little ones, I photograph my own.
My daughter is the light of my life and I just can't help but share some of her with all of you.

Phylisha and beautiful Audrey. As I'm sure she knows, I stole the title of this post from Phylisha's facebook. Thursday was the first time I have met little Audrey. She is a beautiful little baby with such an obvious personality, yet she is so calm and happy. Hopefully I will get together with them again some time soon!

Tonight I got to meet up with an old friend and capture a few moments with her and her new fiance. The shoot was 50's style and so much fun! We laughed the whole time. I am so happy for these two and wish them all the best. I can't wait to shoot their wedding!!

There is nothing as wonderful as spending time with those who make you happy. It has been a weekend filled with friends and family! First I got to meet the wonderful little boy Jasper who was in his mommy's tummy a few posts before. Second and much needed road trip with my best friend and our little ones. And last a day with my little family. Tomorrow will be yet another day with family and will hopefully bring some wonderful pictures!

It's never too late for pictures in a wedding dress

However this photo shoot was almost two years late, it was well worth it. This is part one of two wedding photo shoots. This one was the more "punk"; short dress, red hair, graffiti style backgrounds, and the second will be delicate.

These two girls act like they're twins, they play together, cry together and scream together. A day with them is always interesting!

Fall is finally here!

The start of fall brings the Apple Festival, petting zoos, apple farms, and homemade applesauce. I can't wait until the leaves turn colors, and the pumpkins are ready to be made into pumpkin pies!

Sometimes we all just need a little chocolate

Had to post a picture of these delicious cookies I made...although I haven't tried them yet. I figure even though I am dieting my life away to lose the last of this baby fat, chocolate is a mood lifter, which means everyone (and I mean everyone) will be much happier when I eat them. :)

Love isn't a strong enough word.

This is my beautiful two year old April. She is the most amazing little girl, she's spunky, loud, and sweet all at the same time. She can be a hand full, but I could never ask for anything else. I love her more than the world.

Babies, Babies, and more Babies!

As a mom, of course I love children. In photographing children, I try to catch that "true" laugh, the loving gazes, and the faces that really make them who they are. The first pictures are of my godson Noah. He is so sweet and I think the calmest baby I have ever seen. I can think of very few times I have seen him when he wasn't smiling. The other little boy is Aaiden. He has grown up with my own daughter, and is such a wonderful little man.

This is a great friend of my Lindsay. Even though she is a (wonderful) stay at home mommy, this quote just seemed to fit hers (and my) sense of humor. As you can see she is gorgeous and was so easy to take pictures of. Her daughter is such a little sweetheart. I have not yet been able to meet the little man who was in her tummy, but in the next few weeks I will, and of course, there will be another blog just for him.
